This privacy policy applies to the Split Jer app (the "App") developed by yomatashi ("we", "us", or "our").
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not directly collect your name, email, or personal contact information within the App.
The App allows you to upload images voluntarily, including payment-related images such as banking QR codes (for example, DuitNow or similar payment QR codes). These images are uploaded and stored solely to enable the payment and bill-splitting features you choose to use within the App.
You are not required to upload such images in order to use the App, and you should only upload images that you are willing to share with the participants of your split group. We do not extract, parse, or otherwise process the contents of your banking QR codes for any purpose other than displaying them to the intended recipients within the App.
Data collected by AdMob and Firebase is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not sell your personal data.
All data collected by the App is transmitted securely using encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Images you upload through the App, including banking QR codes and other payment-related images, are stored in encrypted form in our database and storage infrastructure. Such images are encrypted at rest and are accessible only to the App and to the users you have shared them with through the relevant feature. Access to the underlying storage is restricted by authentication and access-control rules.
Please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request the deletion of any data associated with your use of the App, including any images you have uploaded. Uploaded images may also be deleted directly within the App where the feature provides that option. To make a deletion request, please contact us at the email address below. We will respond to and process valid deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
